Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho has implemented a major technological upgrade at the club’s training facilities to modernise how the first-team squad reviews performance.
Mourinho has integrated live drone recording with a giant pitchside television screen to analyse tactical setups during active training sessions.
A drone is deployed above the practice pitches to give Mourinho and his staff a clear aerial view of the team’s shape, defensive lines and positional movements.
The footage is streamed in real time to a large screen beside the pitch, allowing the coaching staff to halt drills and immediately demonstrate tactical adjustments.
The system, identified by sports media as TILD (Tactic Interactive LED Screen), is designed to fix positioning errors on the spot.
Analysts note that by reviewing mistakes while drills are still fresh in the players’ minds, Mourinho intends to maximise tactical discipline and accelerate the squad’s adaptation to his system during his second stint in the Spanish capital.
