A married woman identified as Mariam Idris has accused light-skinned Nollywood actress Irewole Olaniyan of allegedly having an affair with her husband for about three years.

Mariam made the allegations on Instagram on October 3, 2026, claiming she had previously approached Irewole privately to discuss the matter.

According to Mary, Irewole initially told her that she did not know the man was married, described him as not being her type and allegedly blocked him.

Mariam, however, claimed the relationship continued and alleged that her husband had supported Irewole’s movie productions, trips, expensive bags and lifestyle.

She also alleged that the actress travelled with her husband to South Africa in September 2024, while accusing her of interfering in her marriage.

Mariam described Irewole as a “home wrecker” and alleged that she continued contacting her husband using different numbers and asking him for money.

In a screenshot shared by Mariam, a message attributed to Irewole appears to state that she ended her relationship with the man long ago and accused Mariam of trying to damage her reputation
