Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has once again attracted attention with his signature dance moves after dancing to his nephew Davido’s hit song in the presence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The lively moment occurred on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, during the inauguration of Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Adeleke, popularly known for his energetic dance performances at public events, entertained guests as he moved to the rhythm of Davido’s music, drawing cheers and attention from those gathered at the event.

President Tinubu and other dignitaries witnessed the performance, which quickly attracted attention on social media after videos of the moment began circulating online.

Adeleke Declares Support for Tinubu’s 2027 Bid

Beyond the dancing, the Osun governor used the occasion to publicly declare his support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition.

Adeleke urged Nigerians to support the president, expressing confidence in the campaign and calling on citizens to pray for the success of the administration.

“We’re going to sing, we’re going to dance all the way back to Aso Rock,” Adeleke said while addressing the gathering.

His declaration is notable because Adeleke belongs to the Accord Party, while Tinubu is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor was also named as a coordinator for Tinubu’s campaign in Osun State, according to reports on the revised campaign council.

Davido’s Music Steals Attention

Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, is the governor’s nephew and one of Nigeria’s leading Afrobeats stars.

The song featured in the viral moment was reported to be Davido’s hit track Feel. Adeleke’s familiar dance style added an entertaining moment to an event primarily focused on political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.

The video has since drawn attention online, combining the governor’s well-known love of dancing with the growing political activity surrounding Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
