Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal are reportedly preparing a €55 million offer to sign Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes during the January 2027 transfer window.
According to reports attributed to Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb, the Saudi Pro League club are planning another attempt to secure the services of the Portuguese midfielder after failing to convince him to leave Old Trafford previously.
The proposed €55 million bid is approximately £45 million.
Fernandes, 32, previously rejected an approach from Saudi Arabia, explaining his desire to continue competing at the highest level of European football.
However, uncertainty surrounding his contract situation has reportedly encouraged Al-Hilal to revive their interest.
His current Manchester United contract runs until the summer of 2027, with the club reportedly holding an option to extend it.
AC Milan are also said to be monitoring the midfielder’s situation.
Despite the transfer speculation, Fernandes remains Manchester United’s captain. Manager Michael Carrick recently reaffirmed his commitment to the club following discussions between both men.
Neither Al-Hilal nor Manchester United has confirmed an official January offer.
The coming transfer window could therefore bring fresh developments regarding the Portuguese international’s future at Old Trafford.
