Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote has agreed to appear on content creator Isbae U’s YouTube show, Curiosity Made Me Ask, following a direct invitation from the comedian.
Dangote accepted the invitation during an interaction with Nigerian creatives in Lagos on Monday, October 19, 2026.
Isbae U, whose real name is Adebayo Ridwan, appealed to the billionaire to feature on his programme, explaining that many of Dangote’s previous interviews had appeared on platforms that younger Nigerians do not typically watch.
The content creator argued that Dangote’s experience in business and his plans to expand investment opportunities made him an important voice for young Nigerians interested in entrepreneurship and the economy.
He subsequently asked the businessman when he would be available to appear on the show.
Dangote Responds to Isbae U
Responding to the invitation, Dangote acknowledged the importance of connecting with younger Nigerians, describing them as the future of the country and Africa.
He said older generations needed to share their experiences with young people to help them better understand business, leadership and the country’s development.
Dangote also admitted that his team should have encouraged him to engage more with younger audiences.
The billionaire then accepted the invitation, assuring Isbae U that he would appear on the programme.
He expressed a preference for an open conversation where members of the public could ask questions.
However, no specific date for the interview was announced during the interaction.
Why the Invitation Matters
Isbae U’s invitation highlights the growing influence of digital platforms in connecting prominent business leaders with younger audiences.
His show, Curiosity Made Me Ask, is known for its direct questions and unconventional interview style, which has attracted attention among Nigerian social media users.
Dangote’s appearance could offer viewers an opportunity to hear his perspectives on business, entrepreneurship and Nigeria’s economic development in a format popular with younger audiences.
The interview is yet to take place, and further details about its timing have not been announced.
