Davita, the fiancée of Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile, has revealed that the rapper was so shy when they first met that he had to send someone else to collect her phone number on his behalf.

She shared the revelation in a teaser for their wedding documentary, where she recounted how the singer approached the situation when he wanted to get her contact.

“To get my number, he asked somebody,” she said.

“He is very shy. People will not believe him,” Davita added, prompting Zlatan to laugh and cover his face.

In the documentary teaser, the singer also opened up about how he realised Davita was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, describing her as “too perfect” and suggesting that she completed the story he believed God was writing in his life.

“She was the final thing that I saw that I knew that that story that said God was writing,” Zlatan said while reflecting on their relationship.

The teaser also featured a playful couple quiz that offered a glimpse into their relationship. When asked who spent more money, Davita pointed at Zlatan, while both of them pointed at each other when asked who was more stubborn.

The emotional moment ended with the couple offering a prayer for their relationship and future together.

“May we always find our way back to you and to each other, in Jesus’ name. Amen,” they prayed.
